Hello, I’m a freelance writer, artist and creative…
About me
Forever shape-shifting, my work grows from care, accountability, and a desire to name the patterns shaping our ecological, social and political realities. I graduated in Journalism from the University of Westminster in 2018, and since then, I’ve collaborated with The Ecologist, Resurgence & Ecologist Magazine, and now serve as a co-editor, audio alchemist, and researcher for Green Dreamer Podcast.
Everything I make, through my journalism and otherwise, is shaped by a wonder of our entanglement with the rest of nature. I’m guided by a simple principle: what we do to Earth, we also do to ourselves and to our future human and more-than-human kin. The systems holding our lives together are fraying, and many of us are moving at the speed of their unravelling. My hope is to braid together stories from those whose hands are already in the soil of repair; people tending possibilities at ground level.
Beyond journalism, I move through art, photography, poetry, and creative writing, spaces where I can explore story through various mediums. If you’d like to wander with me on my more creative meanders, I keep a small Substack called The Flowering Furnace.
